Job Description:
The key job responsibilities include the following:
1. Responsible for maintaining, enhancing and developing and supporting
applications and technology solutions.
2. Responsible for ensuring that all applications development efforts meet
and or exceed client expectations. Applications should meet requirements of
scope, functionality, time, and adhere to all defined and agreed upon
standards.
3. Becomes intimately familiar with all assigned application and technology
functionality.
4. Becomes intimately familiar with all development tools, testing tools,
methodologies, and processes.
5. Becomes intimately familiar the project management methodology and
processes.
6. Encourages collaborative efforts and camaraderie with on-shore and offshore
team members.
7. Demonstrates a strong working understanding of industry best standards
in software development and version controlling.
8. Ensures the quality and low bug rates of code released into production.
9. Will assist the Technical Lead with project team duties as required
10. Works as a senior team member under the direction of the Application
Manager or Assistant Manager
11. Able to work on Agile projects, participating in daily SCRUM calls and
providing task udpates.
Candidate Profile:
Education & Experience:
1. Fresher with Training in Dot Net or 0-2 years experience in web
development which includes ASP.NET (3.5 / 4), ASP.NET MVC (3.0 / 4.0),
HTML, HTML 5, CSS.
2. Knowledge in C# as development language, .NET framework concepts
and implementation and OOPs concepts.
3. Knowledge of SQL Server (includes working with DML, DDL, Stored
procedures,)
4. Good analytical skills to understand the requirements and develop /
implement solutions
5. Soft skills needed: Self-starter, proactive, approachable, solution oriented,
team player
6. Good knowledge or working experience in Agile projects
7. Strong trouble shooting skills to resolve the technical skills.
8. Good in writing automated unit testing code.
