Job Description:
1. Be part of the Tools Infrastructure team to develop various applications for
engineering teams
2. Help build Automation infrastructure in Python for high-end network
appliances and virtual products
3. Plan, prototype and implement new applications and features using Python
4. Provide input for new systems and applications by researching latest open
source solutions
5. Follow sound software development methodologies for coding, code
reviews, unit/integration/regression testing and source code control
6. Maintain TCL- based sustaining projects and handle enhancement
requests and bug fixes
7. Have sound knowledge in automation
8. Strong knowledge in traffic generator like IXIA and Spirent
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications/Job Responsibilities:
1. Review, test and improve existing tcl and python based framework
2. Write highly reliable and fault-tolerant backend for the automation
infrastructure
3. Unit test coverage to catch and prevent feature regressions
4. Support Engineers on the tools developed by the team
5. Debug and fix any issues
6. Present and train users on infrastructure and Apps developed by the team
7. Write Automation API and trafficGen API and maintain the existing code
base.
8. Technically lead the team
