Job Description:

1. Having knowledge of Database Administrator at L2 level
for MSSQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008.

2. Configuration and installation of SQL server 2000, 2005 and 2008

3. Having knowledge of Database Backups and Restoration.

4. Having knowledge of indexing, DTS, SSIS packages.

5. Having Experience in SQL server service pack and
security patches installation.

6. Having Experience in planning and implementing SQL
Server Security and Database Permissions.

7. Having Experience in Monitoring and Troubleshooting of
SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 databases.

8. Having Experience in Automating Database Maintenance Plans.

9. Good Experience in scheduling SQL Server Agent Jobs,
Alerts and automating scripts.

10. Having basic understanding of Ticketing tool and
Monitoring tool (like: Tivoli, NetIQ)

11. Hands on Experience of High Availability including
Replication, Log Shipping and Database Mirroring.

12. Having at least 6 months of Experience in SQL Server Clustering.

13. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
and ready to work in 24*7 support.
